BR Unit of Parliamentarians

The objective of the Baton Rouge Unit of the National Association of Parliamentarians (NAP) – also called the Baton Rouge Unit of Parliamentarians or BRUP – is to serve this area by bringing the parliamentarians of the community into close cooperation, by promoting the study and practical application of parliamentary procedure (Roberts Rules of Order), and by publicizing the programs of the Educational Resources Committee of the NAP.

BRUP meets at 6:00 PM on the last Tuesday of each month in small meeting room of Café Américain restaurant at 7521 Jefferson Hwy. in Baton Rouge.

The nation-wide list of NAP Units provides links for Units that have websites.

For more information, visit the BRUP Facebook page, or contact Unit President Sarah Holliday-James by email at [email protected].
