The purposes of the Federation are:

-- to further the interests of individual homeowners in the Greater Baton Rouge metropolitan area, including the preservation of property values and the improvement of the character and integrity of residential neighborhoods, 

-- to educate its member Associations in matters of mutual interest,

-- to participate in municipal planning & improvement,  and 

-- to participate with community-based organizations which seek to improve the community environment and quality of life.


To be considered for full membership, an organization must:

(a) be duly organized consistent with the purposes of homeowners associations; 

(b) represent single-family residential neighborhoods within the parishes of East Baton Rouge, West Baton Rouge, Point Coupee, West Feliciana, East Feliciana, St. Helena, Livingston, Ascension, and/or Iberville; and 

(c) pay annual dues (see 2014 Dues Invoice for details).

Associate memberships (non-voting) are potentially available to organizations which devote a substantial portion of their activity to providing services (such as property management) for organizations which have full membership in the Federation.
